The Causeway Pledge

Once you're in Causeway, you're always in Causeway. Your Pledge begins the day you join and continues for life, through your crossing on Landing Day and after it.

Every Member carries the same name, from the Student in their first term to the Fellow 20 years into a career. What one of us does, all of us wear.

As a Member of Causeway, I pledge:

In the Arena. I am the one in the arena. My Coach, my Mentors, and Causeway are in my corner: coaching, teaching, and opening doors. The work is mine, and so is the result. I will put in the time my field requires, even when it runs well beyond my sessions; some tracks ask for more hours than others.

Show Up. I will arrive on time, prepared, and professional for every session, workshop, and Mentor Conversation. Every Member is a reflection of every other Member.

Respect the Mentor. I will never directly ask a Mentor for a job or an internship. I will ask for advice, information, and introductions, and I will accept a no the first time. I will send a written thank-you within 24 hours of every Mentor Conversation.

Tell the Truth. I will be honest with my Coach, my Mentors, and employers. I will use AI within the rules of my school or employer, and never to skip the learning I came here to do.

Keep It in the Room. I will keep the curriculum, session recordings, Mentor identities, and other Members' information confidential.

Keep the Causeway Open. For life, I will work hard, obey the law, and take the call when a Student behind me asks for one. I will never pull the bridge up behind me.

I understand that serious or repeated violations can lead to my removal from the program without refund, and that conduct concerns are shared with the person paying for my program, whatever visibility settings I choose.
